Jackky Bhagnani: I Want To Come Out Of My Dad's Shadow
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... Wants to create own identity
Jackky Bhagnani doesn't want to act under his father Vashu Bhagnani's banner Pooja Films anymore.
After acting in six films, all produced by his home banner, he says: "I don't want to work with Pooja Films at least for some time. It takes away from my hard work. It's difficult to step out from my dad's (Vashu Bhagnani) shadow, but I have to do it.I want to work with other banners now."
The Youngistaan actor adds: "Imagine a young guy leaving home after fighting with his family to act in films. He reaches Mumbai, sees Youngistaan, loves the song, is impressed with everyone's acting... Finally, when the credit rolls, he sees 'Pooja Films'. In that one moment, everything he had liked so far becomes a big zero."
So, does he want to lead a struggler's life? "We are all struggling. I may be living in a mansion, but that doesn't mean I am not struggling. It may be different from that of a hut-dweller, but everyone has his/her own battles," he points out.
